Student performance is thus not measured by comparison to their classmates taking the same exams but against specific criteria based on the objectives of each subject studied. This is done to ensure objective and stable grades.
Statistically, the scores achieved by IB students have remained stable since the launch of the Diploma Programme more than 20 years ago. Universities value this consistency, which is one of the reasons why the programme is recognized and respected by the world’s leading post-secondary institutions.
