Information to parents

Dear pre-IB parent(s),

We are pleased to invite you to a parent talk on

November 9th and November 10th, both days from 15.00-20.00. 

Your child must sign you up by indicating what date and timeframe suits you. This happens in Lectio, and the deadline for signing up is Tuesday, October 27th. 
1j and 1k students have already been informed about the purpose and content of the parent talks and been instructed on how to sign you up.

The exact time of the parent talk will be published in Lectio on your child’s timetable for the 9th and the 10th of November. Dates and exact times are published on Thursday October 29th 2020. 

All talks take place at Ikast-Brande Gymnasium, room 127 and 129. 

If you are unable to attend in person, we are happy to meet online.  We will email you a link to Microsoft Teams prior to the time of the parent talk, and connect with you online. 

The parent talks serve the purpose of giving you a brief update on your child’s academic and social progress, as well as work ethics and attendance records. 

All 1k students and parents will be speaking with team teacher Sune Thyssen and guidance counsellor Karen Baktoft. 
All 1j students and parents will be speaking with team teacher Tine Damgård and IB coordinator Gitte Pilley.

The teacher team carries feedback from all of 1jk’s teachers to give you a well-rounded picture of your child’s progress.
